The Akai Drive3 Distortion Pedal by Akai Professional is an excellent alternative to the more costly Deluxe Distortion. Akai Drive3 Distortion combines Level, Tone and Distortion knobs with a Fat, Boost and Warm Drive3 switch in heavy-duty polished stainless-steel housing. True-bypass switching, three adjustable knobs and tone toggle switch provide precision tone control.
Akai Drive3 Distortion’s Tri-Mode toggle-switch gives guitarists detailed gain control ranging from a speck of dust to a thick, dirty tornado of sound. Select Fat, Boost or Warm to enable soaring leads, lush chords and satisfying rhythm tones. Tone may be further adjusted using the three precision Level, Tone and Distortion knobs.
Drive3 Distortion is powered by the included 9-volt battery or 9v AC adapter (sold separately).
