The L1® portable line array system family has won widespread acclaim from musicians and performers. Using proprietary Bose technology, L1® systems combine PA, monitor and advanced tone-shaping capabilities within a single unit, creating a highly portable and natural-sounding solution. Like all L1® systems, the L1® Compact system features BOSE® Spatial Dispersion loudspeaker technology to deliver sound evenly across the stage and throughout the audience. The slim line array provides almost 180° horizontal coverage, with no ‘dead spots'. Whether performing solo, playing with other musicians, reproducing recorded music or delivering a presentation, the user enjoys full control over what reaches listeners' ears.

The system's power stand incorporates an integrated bass speaker and amplifier, plus a mixer with a total of four inputs and two outputs. Channel 1 includes ToneMatch® system processing, preset for automatic tone optimisation of a handheld microphone. Channel 2 accepts up to three inputs simultaneously - including guitar, keyboard or other instrument, DJ mixer, MP3 player, laptop or projector - and features a fixed ToneMatch® preset for an acoustic guitar.

The entire L1® Compact system is easily carried from vehicle to stage in a single trip. Set-up takes a minute or less, with a choice of full-height or low-rise configuration to suit the particular venue or event. There are no extra components to transport, no heavy speakers to hoist into stands, and no speaker cables to restrict movement on stage.
