Blackstar is a British Amp manufacturer. Established in 2007 by Former Marshall employees, Blackstar have already built a name for themselves as one of the leading British amp manufacturers, no mean feat when considering the hallowed company they keep in this position.
Blackstar have gone from being four guys building amps in a garden shed to being one of the largest guitar amp manufacturers in the world in a little under two decades. And with founding members bringing over 50 years of guitar build and design experience to the table, and a “by musicians, for musicians” ethos, it’s really not difficult to see why.
The modern Blackstar range is as diverse as its players, from the portable Fly amps and digital ID:Core and Silverline amps, to their valve powered HT and Series 1 amps, or even the earth shaking Unity Bass amp ranges.
