Established by Jim Dunlop in 1965, Dunlop was initially involved in producing small guitar accessories, namely a predecessor of the clip-on tuner, toggle capos capable of dealing with 12 strings guitars, and plectrums designed to emulate the feel of tortoiseshell.
Although initially concerned with small accessories, Dunlop now manufacture a wide range of guitar accessories, from capos, straps, slides and plectrums. They are also quite heavily involved in the manufacture of effects pedals, including the famous Cry Baby Wah range, the Uni-Vibe phaser and even the Way Huge range, such as the Swollen Pick and Pork Loin.
