Discovery Days with Daniel Watt

Daniel started organ lessons when he was just 8 years old and turned professional when he left school at 16. He soon started to appear as a solo act which he still does today in clubs and dance halls all over the country. Daniel was then booked by Sceptre promotions, which produce the largest Keyboard Festivals in the UK at Pakefield & Blackpool.
Daniel has been lucky enough to share the stage with many of the big names in the organ world and has made more than 70 trips to the United States playing in concert and teaching over the past 13 years.
In August 2014 Daniel also became part of the UK demonstration team for Yamaha and now tours Europe with a Genos workstation. You’ll also see Daniel regularly performing at festivals and in music shops throughout the UK.
Discovery Days with Matt Platt

Matt is a touring musician who has been representing Yamaha as a brand ambassador, alongside dealers since 2012. His passion is jazz, funk and soul material, but he also plays contemporary pop with his students. He is also classically trained on the cello and piano.
Matt writes and performs his own progressive style music, and has been utilising musical tech innovations for decades to find his sound. In this way, Matt is always learning about the latest Yamaha products and is enthusiastic about digital and hybrid instruments, and the ways it can blend with classical tones.
What excites Matt most is working with people, either by teaching, performing, or demonstrating, he has built a successful career around sharing music and making valid connections with others.
